HB HISTORICAL SOCIETY

The Historical Society
 
For over fifty years the Huntington Beach Historical Society has worked to protect our history, and to promote and facilitate historical education and awareness. The Historical Society hosts numerous historical events throughout the year, maintains and operates the Newland House Museum, and serves as a community resource for historical research and education. The Society meets annually in December with special meetings and Public Board Meetings held throughout the year.

The Order of the Newland Rose

The Order of the Newland Rose was created in memory of Mary Juanita Newland to honor those citizens or organizations that have made significant contributions to preserving our history in Huntington Beach. It is our society's highest distinction and a true mark of distinguished service to our community.
